Wireless Freedom Charge Overview:

Wireless Freedom Charge is a Research and Development firm committed to technological advancement. We are currently developing very unique DC storage technologies for industrial DC-power storage applications worldwide and we are also an expert in wireless charging hardware and integrated devices. We are working on an international research collaboration (Smart-Grid System) for an Energy project. The Smart Grid System will also be enabled to integrate into an already developed Hydro-Electric or Wave Power System. All three of these renewable sources of energy (Solar, Wind, Hydro, Wave) can be integrated into one Smart-Grid system that will be controlled by a main server.  Our Smart Grid is aiming to leverage funding from multiple Federal and Provincial government sources. Wireless Freedom Charge Inc. is also developing Electric Vehicle charging infrastructure with it’s proprietary industrial DC storage and power inverter technologies. Our wireless charging technology is world-class and a leader in the industry and our team is diligently working to fulfill large purchase orders from major retailers for our charging products internationally. The Assembly Detail

Our receivers are fully retractable and come with an adjustable fitting. Using this method our receiver can quite literally fit any device (either mobile phone or tablet.) We believe our retractable fitting receiver gives us an edge over other competition and this truly helps us in preserving our universally public charging image for we are compatible with any device from this mechanical application adapted into our technology.

The WPC and PMA standards are based on inductive charging and they are considered to be tightly coupled systems which do not permit spatial freedom. The central cause of this flaw: no smart data signaling between devices. The currently availed solutions force the end user into a “closed” system, limiting the user’s ability to charge their device with only a compatible charging pad. We at WFC (Wireless Freedom Charge) have designed our receivers so they are equipped with a Micro-USB port which in turn completely eradicates any troubles of compatibility between devices. All you need is the proper cord for your device’s plug it in the micro-USB port and into your device. Your device is now ready to receive the charge from one of our smart transmitters.

The Free-Charge system powers up the Aftermarket receiver which will in turn power up your device.

Transmitter side: The DC Power bank will power the Tx Resonator that will then transmit electromagnetic power. Such power amplifier and matching circuits are used before providing power to resonator.

Receiver side: The transmitted power is received by the Rx Resonator of other device and consequently converted to electric power. This power is provided to DC battery of the device being charged, after proper rectification and regulation. Subsequently, it is provided to DC Power bank where it is stored to have power sustainability.

During this power transfer, the status of both devices is monitored by their respective MCUs.

Antenna System:

We designed and modified an antenna system, it’s a transmitting and receiving antenna system, it’s called the “Dynamic Beam Antenna System”. This antenna system can transmit multiple beams simultaneously and lock onto different targets with the actual physical movement of the antenna ( This works in co-ordination with a directional guided system). The system uses a directional-guided system and directional antennas to transmit electromagnetic energy directionally as opposed to an oscillating or omnidirectional movement for the energy transfer (The directional system increases beam accuracy significantly and also helps pinpoint location to the receivers).

Basic Coil Formulas:

A coil has inductance, resistance and capacitance. Its self-resonant frequency is given by:

Fr = 1/ 2 pie square root (LC)

L= Inductance, C= Capacitance

At resonance the impedances of C and L are equal and opposite thus they cancel out leaving the impedance to be R. The quality factor is given by:

Q= WoL/R

The lower the R the better the quality factor; R really represents the losses in the coil and includes the wire resistance.

Radiated energy and losses occur due to the proximity effect (eddy currents). As the frequency increases the skin effect becomes more pronounced and less current travels in the interior of the wire, this effectively means the resistance of the wire increases with frequency.

Based on the above formulas maximum efficiency will be obtained by:

Maximizing coil inductances

Maximizing frequency while taking into account the skin effect, proximity effect and radiative losses

Optimizing load resistance based on other system parameters
